This Privacy Policy describes how we manage Personal Data in compliance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) (“Act”). We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy so that you know and understand the purposes for which we collect, use and disclose your Personal Data. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
“Personal Data” refers to data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data in combination with other information to which the organisation may have access and includes the meaning otherwise as defined in the Act as amended from time to time.
This Privacy Policy does not supersede or replace any other consents you may have previously or separately provided to us in respect of your Personal Data, and your consent to this Privacy Policy is in addition to any other rights which any of the Companies may have at law to collect, use or disclose your Personal Data.
This Privacy Policy and your use of this website shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Singapore.
Data Collection
Onyx Consultancy only collects personal information or data that is voluntarily supplied by a user of the Site. By way of examples, users of the Site may wish to provide personal information for the purposes of:
- Applying for a job with the company or any of its partners;
- Making contact with the company
Information supplied by users for such purposes may include e-mail addresses, contact addresses, educational details and any other additional information that users may choose to supply. These data collection forms do not use cookies.
Security
The security and protection of personal information supplied by a user is of paramount importance. We have in place generally accepted standards of technology and operational security to protect all personal information to the Site from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction, and to ensure compliance with the requirements of data protection and privacy legislation. Notwithstanding, a user of the Site submits personal information on the Site at the user’s own risk.
Use of Data
Onyx Consultancy commits to the user that it will only use the personal information supplied by the user for the purposes for which such information was provided or for its own statistical analysis or marketing initiatives. The Site does not collect personal information for sale or dissemination to third parties or host mailings on behalf of third parties.
Disclosure of Personal Information
Onyx Consultancy will not share any personal information collected on the Site with third parties unless required by law, required to enable the fulfilment of the purpose for which the personal information was originally supplied or as otherwise set out in this Policy. In submitting personal information to the Site, the user is giving explicit consent for such usage.
Onyx Consultancy may transfer all or part of its business in the circumstances of a merger or sale of part or all its business. In such circumstances, personal information supplied by a user of the Site may be transferred but this will be only in circumstances where the acquiring company has agreed to the same standards and terms of privacy as are set out in this policy.
